2. What we store, and why
Three groups, matching the three lines in the consent banner. Advertising never runs until you say so. Analytics does the same if you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland; elsewhere it counts page views from your first visit and stops the moment you decline.

Advertising

3. Other companies
Some of the storage above belongs to other companies rather than to us. When their code runs, they can set and read their own cookies, and their own privacy notices govern what they then do with the data.
- Google Analytics 4: aggregate site analytics. Loaded directly, only with analytics consent.
- Ahrefs Analytics: traffic and content performance.
- Apollo.io Website Tracker: works out which company a visitor belongs to, for sales follow-up.
- Vercel Analytics: performance and traffic on the hosting platform.
- Calendly: the demo and meeting booking widget, on the pages that have one.
- Instatus: the service status widget.
- Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag: campaign measurement and retargeting. Google Tag Manager delivers both, and we load the container only after you allow advertising.
Two of these load on every page whatever you choose, because they deliver the page rather than measure it: Sanity serves the images, and Instatus draws the status widget. We checked what they leave behind, no cookies, nothing in storage, but they are still requests to another company's server, so your IP address reaches them. Everything else on this page waits for your answer.
We do not sell the data these cookies collect.
4. How long they last
Until you close the tab
Session storage, the dismissed banner, a search query in transit. Closing the browser clears it.
Until you clear them
Your language and your consent answer stay in local storage until you delete this site's data. They have no expiry date because forgetting them would mean asking you the same question again.
A fixed period
Analytics and advertising cookies expire on their provider's schedule, typically between 30 days and 2 years. Google Analytics data is kept for at most 26 months on our side.
5. Changing your mind
Whatever you chose on the banner, you can change it. This button forgets your answer and asks again, with the per-category options open.
You can also control this outside our site. Blocking essential storage will break parts of the page, the language switch in particular.

6. Do Not Track
Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed meaning for it, so sites are free to interpret it however they like, which in practice means most ignore it, and ours does too. The banner in Section 5 is the control that actually does something here, and we would rather point you at that than claim to honour a signal we do not read.
7. When this policy changes
We update this page when we add or drop a tool, or when the law changes. Significant changes get announced here, and the "Last reviewed" date at the top always belongs to the version you are reading.
